Organizes many student related activities, helps in fundraising for student causes, and is the voice for veterinary students at Murdoch

Is there to help that transition from student to new grad run as smoothly as possible.  With discussions and lectures from top notch speakers from all over the world in subjects such as “communicating to clients” and “what employers look for in new grads,” it is definitely an organization worth joining.

Murdoch University Wildlife Association (MUWA)

MUWA is dedicated to increasing the knowledge and exposure of Murdoch graduates to aspects of wildlife biology, medicine, and conservation. The committee consists of an enthusiastic group of veterinary students with a keen interest in wildlife.

Bovine Interest Group

The objective of the Murdoch University, Veterinary School, Bovine Interest Group is to provide members with the opportunity to improve their professional skills and knowledge of management and handling procedures in the cattle industries.

The BIG is closely affiliated with The Australian Cattle Veterinarians, a special interest group of the Australian Veterinary Association.

Equine Interest Group

The EIG is highly involved in the ever present racing industry in Perth. They provide many educational seminars and chance for hands on practical work.
