The Veterinary Student Network Abroad had it’s humble beginning as the homepage Veterinary School Down Under created by Christina Webb. During the application process it was a painful reality that all the information needed to make the life changing decision of studying veterinary science in another country was not easy to find. The university websites were very good but they did not contain the very important information like getting your pets there, where to shop, cost of living, and any contacts of students currently going through the program.

Emails started to pour in from visitors to the Veterinary School Down Under homepage with many people asking the exact same questions that Christina was asking when researching her options. It was clear that a database needed to be created to store all the information that was being discovered and the Veterinary Student Network Abroad was created.
