First: Every Vet student should join the Veterinary Information Network or VIN.
"VIN was born in 1991. From day one, we've shaped VIN as a place where the professional and personal growth of veterinarians is the sole focus. VIN is strongly motivated in contributing to the development of our next generation of colleagues. To demonstrate our belief in mentorship, VIN offers FREE VIN ACCESS to University veterinary students, interns, residents, faculty, and academic support staff, who register using their University email address ( name@school.edu or name@school.ac or similar) and provide their graduation date (month and year). To remain eligible for VIN, you must maintain your school email address as a functioning inbox, bounced or blocked emails may lead to a interruption in your VIN access."
